The artist
Personal stories, marks of identity
Skeety Johnson’s journey into tattooing began in the streets and cultural mix of Essex County, New Jersey. More than 15 years later, that work happens in Orlando, Florida — custom pieces built around precision, patience, and what the tattoo actually means to the person wearing it.
Tattoos here are treated as personal stories and marks of identity rather than decoration, which is why every project starts with a conversation instead of a price list.
That work has travelled further than skin: Skeety’s tattoo art for DeAndre Bembry is featured in the video game NBA 2K — a milestone that keeps pushing the work toward new techniques and more ambitious pieces.
“My dedication to the craft ensures that your first tattoo with me won’t be your last.”

Full aftercare instructionsHow do I book a tattoo appointment in Orlando?
Start with the inquiry form on this page, or send a DM on Instagram. Consultations are handled digitally by text, email, or Instagram DM — we talk through your vision and confirm the style is a good fit. Once we're agreed, you'll get a secure Stripe link for the deposit, and paying it locks in your date.
How do I pay my deposit?
By secure Stripe link, sent to you after your consultation. Nothing is charged on this website, and you'll never be asked for card details over DM. The deposit comes off your session total.
Do I need to sign anything?
Yes. You'll complete and sign the consent form in the studio on the day of your tattoo, covering the terms published on this site. Bring a valid State or Federal photo ID — it's checked at every appointment.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. The studio is appointment only, so every session is scheduled in advance through a consultation.
How much does a tattoo session cost?
All prices include Florida sales tax (7%), and a 15% service fee applies to card and digital payments. A single session is $1,712.00 and covers 8 hours of total time — the full day is payable even if you finish early. Work booked across multiple sittings is $1,498.00 per session, and a half-day session of 4 hours is $963.00. An optional Design Collaboration Fee of $642.00 applies only if you want to be hands-on in the design process.
How much is the deposit?
A $600 deposit is required per session, or $1,200 for sleeves and multi-session work. Out-of-state, guest spot, and convention deposits are strictly non-refundable. Changing your tattoo concept after booking requires a new deposit.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Deposits are lost if you are 30 or more minutes late, or if you give less than 2 weeks' notice to reschedule. With 2 or more weeks' notice, a 50% deposit penalty applies. A second reschedule results in 100% loss of the deposit.
Do I get to see the design before my appointment?
Standard booking grants full creative freedom so the design fits your body type — what works on flat paper often doesn't translate to the curves and muscles of the body. The final design is finalized the day before your session and shown on the day of the tattoo. If you'd rather be hands-on, the $642.00 Design Collaboration Fee covers a full day of consultation and design work together.
What tattoo styles do you specialize in?
Realism black and grey and realism portraits are the core of the work. Also available: mandalas, traditional and neo-traditional, watercolor, and illustrative and geometric tattoos.
What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. American Express and personal checks are not accepted.
What is the minimum age to get tattooed?
18 years old. Please bring a valid State or Federal photo ID. No exceptions.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Start 7 days prior: no alcohol, stay hydrated, and use CeraVe 'Rough & Bumpy Skin' lotion. Arrive alone — no guests. Come well-fed and well-rested, and bring a valid State or Federal photo ID.
Does it hurt?
Yes! But in the best possible way. Your brain releases endorphins when you go through pain and your body loves endorphins, so yes, it hurts, but you'll kinda like it.
How long can I wait between sessions?
Sessions need to be completed within a reasonable timeframe so the tones and colors blend seamlessly. If you wait 12 months or longer between sessions, the existing ink will have aged and faded compared to new work. If more than one year has passed since your last session, the entire piece has to be redone to match tones and saturation — effectively starting the project over at your expense.
What is the aftercare process?
Keep the Tattoo Armour pad on for the first 6–8 hours. After that, wash gently with Dial Gold soap, pat dry with a paper towel, apply a thin coat of Aquaphor, and re-pad. Repeat every 6–8 hours until the pads come off clean.
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
The surface generally heals in about two weeks, but full skin regeneration underneath takes several months. Keep moisturizing and protecting it from the sun through that whole window.
Where is the studio located?
4401 E Colonial Dr #101b, Orlando, FL 32803, serving Orlando and the surrounding Central Florida area. Appointments only — please don't stop by without a scheduled session.
